We are going to talk about families. You will learn plenty of vocabulary related to this topic and will be able to share your thoughts about it. Also fun anecdotes, you sure have a few. We’ll have fun! Family issues are never boring.

Bienvenidos a Marzo Englihscafe lovers!
¡Este va a ser un gran mes! Especialmente para aquellos que vais a pasarlo con nosotros aprendiendo inglés. Este es el tema sobre el que vamos a trabajar este mes: familia y estilos de vida alternativos.
Vamos a hablar, por un lado, de las familia. Juntos aprenderemos mucho vocabulario relacionado para que puedas compartir tus ideas y pensamientos sobre el tema. También las anécdotas divertidas que tengas, que seguro tienes alguna. ¡Lo vamos a pasar genial! Los temas familiares nunca son aburridos.
Also, we’ll talk about alternative lifestyles. How? We are going to speak in class about songs and movies from the 1950s until today, that show different lifestyles and how they mirrored the way of life and way of thinking of the time in which they were written. So we will be dealing with topics such as drugs, racism, war, mental illness, LGBT issues, activism, extreme sports and travel.

Además, hablaremos de estilos de vida alternativos. ¿Cómo? Vamos a hablar en clase acerca de canciones y películas, desde la década de 1950 hasta la actualidad, que muestran los diferentes estilos de vida de la época y veremos como estas reflejaban el modo de vida y la manera de pensar de la época en que fueron escritas. Así, hablaremos de temas como drogas, racismo, la guerra, enfermedades mentales, problemas de LGBT, activismo, deportes extremos y viajes.
